Scope
Inpex required technical and project engineering support to finalise the award of the Drill Rig lease contract for the phase 1 drilling works. The support required included visiting the rig to site survey offshore Israel, compiling the scope of rig modification work required to prepare and execute the Ichthys scope and attendance at final negotiations in Houston.
Cube was engaged to provide this support.
Outcome
Cube provided the following support:
Expediting information flow between Inpex and Ensco
Facilitate a robust conceptual Scope of Work & cost estimate (+/-20%)
Further develop scope of work through detailed engineering and construction in the next phase.
Incorporation of scope of work into the lease contract.
Attend KO meeting at Ensco office Houston
Attend interim meeting at Ensco office Houston
Rig visit (Israel)
Liaison with Ensco to expedite Rig Modification SoW/concepts/cost estimate proposals
Liaison within Inpex to expedite approval/acceptance of Rig Mod. SoW/concepts/cost estimate proposals.
Monitoring of Ensco progress
Production of E5006 deck layout drawings with input from Inpex
